Rob Mahon, graduate of the University of Oregon and The Lourdes Institute of Holistic Health, is one of the most sought after soft tissue and cranial specialists in the United States. In addition to treating countless celebrities, politicians, and luminaries in the business world, Rob has worked with Olympic athletes from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Korea, Ethiopia, and Kenya. He has worked with professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, U.S. Soccer, professional Boxing, and U.S Figure Skating. Rob focuses on the nature, role, and manipulation of fascia in the human body and its relationship to biomechanics, the brain, and total system health. He is a practitioner of sound mobilization, massage and osteopathic techniques that facilitate and enable what is known as the Primary Respiratory Mechanism, the basic tenet and founding principle of Osteopathy discovered by Dr. William Sutherland. In addition, Rob has been trained and mentored in Active and Myofascial Release, Active-Isolated Stretching, Structural Integration, Cranial Fascial Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, and the Feldenkrais Method, and his work oftentimes represents a combination of any number of these soft-tissue and somatic modalities. As such, Rob has spent the last twenty years rooting out and eradicating the myriad physical, conceptual, and neurological pain syndromes that plague the freedom of human movement, performance, and well-being.
